Who we are

Matrix on Board was established in Sydney in 1997 by Morri Young – who was joined by Nonie Wales in 2001 – as a company to inform, resource and strengthen the non-profit (NP) sector.

Having both worked in management roles in NP organisations, Morri and Nonie established Matrix on Board to support NPs to continue to thrive and deliver valuable services to the Australian community by providing them with the best financial and strategic information available for all their stakeholders – funders, employees, volunteers and clients.

Joined in 2007 by Nerida Nettelbeck as director of the Melbourne office, Matrix on Board has grown to a team of 30 consultants in six offices providing financial management and capacity building services to over 130 organisations.

Matrix on Board helps NPs align the business of what they do with the services they deliver. Our team work alongside people at all levels in an organisation and support them to learn, adopt and implement best practice financial and administrative systems and processes. We form long term relationships so we can build efficiencies, accountability and organisational capacity for our clients so they can remain financially viable and operationally sustainable.
