Family Payments Training Materials

Started in September 2008, this project has been implemented in conjunction with FaHCSIA and harnesses our strength in working with Indigenous communities and simplifying the ‘money story’.
Financial literacy for Indigenous workers and families is the key to empowering their decision-making and unlocking their financial destiny. In partnership with Longueville Media we have designed a Money Management Worker’s Guide that can be used by service providers and Money Management Workers while they are delivering financial literacy programs on the ground.
The training resources include:
» A laminated set of handy hints, checklists, Q&A sheets and other educational resources for Money Management Workers to use with their clients in remote and regional communities
» A training manual with technical information that allows Money Management Workers to have access to job aids, checklists and support tools
» A comprehensive scope of necessary Money Management Worker’s skills, including codes of conduct, duty of care, preparing a budget and referral procedures
