Morri Young

Managing Director for Strategy and Market

Morri has been working with government and community not-for-profits for 25 years. His strengths are project management, strategic planning and innovative solutions to organisational issues. He encourages not-for-profits to achieve at the highest level, for real client outcomes through the efficient use of resources and the engagement of people who will make a contribution.
Before the crash of ‘04, Morri rode a Vespa ET4.

Nonie Wales

Managing Director for People and Culture

Nonie has worked in administration and project management roles in non-profit organisations in NSW and the Northern Territory for 18 years. Nonie has a background in adult education and sociology, and is committed to creating positive and productive work environments that achieve satisfaction – and outcomes – for clients and workers. Nonie’s strengths are reflective listening and communication, and translating aspirations into plans.

Kirsten Forrester

General Manager, NSW

Kirsten first came into contact with associations, advocacy groups and NFP organisations at uni in the late 80s and has never looked back. Her work in Australia has been with organisations as diverse as St Vincent de Paul, NCOSS and SDN Children’s Services and has most recently managed the corporate services division of a $30million agency. Kirsten has strong skills in finance and administration and loves to solve a problem.
In her spare time, Kirsten loves playing soccer and baking.

Johanna Williams

Manager, Marketing and Communications

Johanna has worked in Marketing and Communications for over 10 years and loves getting her teeth into a good strategic marketing plan. Her strengths are planning, project management and working with people (she is a pretty good talker too)!
Johanna enjoys cooking and baking and tries to keep the team well supplied with chocolate.

Bonnie Brown

Manager, Corporate Services

Bonnie is responsible for implementing strategy around improving our internal systems and the way we work with our clients. Bonnie has a strong background in general management and administrative systems and processes in non-profit organisations, most recently coming from program management at Red Cross.
Bonnie loves dogs and can’t seem to shake her Canadian accent!

Ashleigh Panozzo

Administrator

Ashleigh has worked in HR and administration roles for construction and mining organisations, local government sectors and other non-profit organisations. Ashleigh believes in what the not-for-profit sector stands for and finds working within the industry to be rewarding experience.
When she isn’t sorting out the team at Matrix, Ashleigh runs around after her two kids and is finishing a uni degree.

Alex Cowell

Client Manager, Financial Management Services

Alex has a background in business, with strengths in financial management. His last ‘serious job’ (he jokes) was in small to medium business banking. He has always had a strong social conscience, and exercised this in 2006 working for an NGO in Guatemala.
Alex is passionate about coffee, and has quickly converted Matrix on Board’s office into a ‘specialty coffee house’. He loves playing and watching AFL on the weekends.

Anna Collet

Client Manager, Financial Management Services

Anna started her career in the corporate sector before gaining experience with non-profit organisations. She holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting and is completing a Masters of International Studies. Anna enjoys working with each client to help them identify their financial strengths and potential.
Anna has spent a year in Thailand teaching business and loves to travel.

Chi Man

Assistant Accountant

Chi Man holds a Dip of Computer Science, Bachelor of Commerce degree and Master of Prof. Accounting. He has strong Excel skills to efficiently complete bookkeeping and reporting.
Chi Man enjoys travel and sightseeing in natural environments.

Chris England

Senior Project Manager, Management Support Services

Chris is passionate about community – people working together to build a stronger society. He developed and managed services for two large not-for-profits over a 14 year period then joined Matrix to share his skills and knowledge more broadly across the not-for-profit sector.
A contradictory character, Chris has a romantic soul sparring with a rational mind.

Elsa Sosa

Assistant Accountant

Elsa is an exceptional bookkeeper who has become part of the team at a number of our important clients. Elsa has successfully integrated her proficient practice into the workflows around our clients. Her work tends to be in highly active clients whose staff are always on the go.
Elsa can cook paella for 30 people… Regularly!

Grace Du

Assistant Accountant

Grace is enthusiastic about working for Matrix on Board and the not-for-profit sector. She holds a Masters degree in Accounting and a Bachelors degree in Public Finance and Taxation. Her extensive experience involves commercial, public practice and not-for-profit accounting and taxation. She has outstanding MYOB skills and as a MYOB Certified Consultant continues to provide high quality financial managment services to all of her clients.
Grace is also a member of CPA Australia.

Hasan Chowdhury

Assistant Accountant

Hasan is passionate about working at Matrix on Board and holds a Masters in Professional Accounting and Chemical Engineering. His outstanding skills in financial reporting software and MYOB enhanced tracking and accounting tools have helped to improve our financial reporting services. He is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Hasan enjoys singing and walking at night when it’s a full moon.

Indra Tengara

Assistant Accountant

Indra has over 8 years experience working in both the corporate and not-for-profit sectors. His corporate experience encompasses the finance, property and hospitality sectors. Indra brings strong skills in management accounting, financial analysis, governance and financial reporting. Indra is committed to working in the not-for-profit sectors utilising his skills to achieve client satisfaction.
Indra is a proud vegetarian.

Lisa Dive

Senior Project Manager, Management Support Services

Lisa has an academic background but has worked in the not-for-profit sector since 2002. She worked in the addictions field in Canada on a range of projects including a strategic planning framework for the sector and various information and research projects. She works in our organisation development division, bringing to her work a passion for supporting not-for-profits, clear thinking and strong communication skills.
Lisa is a philosopher by trade.

Meryem Ali

Administrator

Meryem has a background in the welfare sector with a particular focus on crisis domestic violence support work. Serendipity lead her to the position at Matrix where she hopes to make a contribution to create positive change in the sector.
Meryem practices Shiatsu in her spare moments.

Mi-Tsu Nheu

National Financial Accountant

Mi-Tsu has extensive experience in both the financial and management accounting fields having previously worked in the corporate and not-for-profit sectors. She is committed to initiating and implementing procedural improvements and quality service delivery. Mi-Tsu has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with an Accountancy major and is a member of the Certified Practicing Accountants of Australia.
Mi-Tsu is the Flight Controller of the Bookkeeping team.

Nick Corrigan

Senior Project Manager, Management Support Services

Nick has over 10 years’ experience working in senior management roles within a range of not-for-profit organisations in Sydney and London. Nick followed his Psychology degree with a Change Management qualification with a Masters in Voluntary Sector Administration. Nick has extensive experience in delivering innovative community education, community development and marketing programs in state-based NFPs.
A true Yorkshireman, Nick loves Whippets.

Sally Lambourne

Senior Project Manager, Management Support Services

Sally has over 17 years experience in the health and community service sectors. She has a strong track record in policy and program planning and evaluation, supported by a Master of Policy Studies. Sally is experienced in strategic planning and organisational development and understands government-funded programs from both a funder and client perspective. Sally has been an active participant on many non-profit boards.
Sally loves her family, AFL and hot chips – not necessarily in that order!

Sony Bonang

Assistant Accountant

Sony holds a Bachelor of Economics degree with a major in Accountancy. With extensive accounting experience and outstanding MYOB skills, he has been providing high quality financial management services to all of his clients.
Sony enjoys the simple things in life like badminton and table tennis.

Tony Cookson

Senior Project Manager, Management Support Services

Tony has over 18 years experience in financial management and over 5 years experience in consulting. His has assisted small community-based organisations in capacity-building and organisational development through to delivering sound financial and programme management outcomes within the Australian Government. Tony has a strong sense of social justice and has a particular passion for the not-for-profit sector.
Tony considers himself to be a master chef and is also a purveyor of corny dad-style jokes.

Yani Ginting

Assistant Accountant

Yani has a strong background in accounting. She is an experienced bookkeeper with over five years experience in working in different community organisations. She supports our bookkeeping team with her proficient practice, experience and innovative solutions.
Yani loves to sing whilst she is working.
