Morri Young

Managing Director for Strategy and Market – Sydney based

Morri has been working with government and community not-for-profits for 25 years. His strengths are project management, strategic planning and innovative solutions to organisational issues. He encourages not-for-profits to achieve at the highest level, for real client outcomes through the efficient use of resources and the engagement of people who will make a contribution.
Before the crash of ‘04, Morri rode a Vespa ET4.

Nonie Wales

Managing Director for People and Culture – Sydney based

Nonie has worked in administration and project management roles in non-profit organisations in NSW and the Northern Territory for 18 years. Nonie has a background in adult education and sociology, and is committed to creating positive and productive work environments that achieve satisfaction – and outcomes – for clients and workers. Nonie’s strengths are reflective listening and communication, and translating aspirations into plans.

Nerida Nettelbeck

Managing Director for Services and Standards – Darwin based

Nerida has held senior management positions in a range of not for profit organisations over 16 years in both local and international context. Nerida holds quals in both Accounting and Organisation Development and believes that by having sound financial information boards, CEO’s and managers can maximise the outcomes for their constituents. Nerida’s strengths lie in business planning and managing the tension between social and financial objectives.
Not content with one Westie in her life, she now has two.

Wendy Dodd

National Program Manager – Melbourne based

Wendy has over 20 years experience in working for Not for Profits across a range of Community Service Sectors. Her experience comprises direct client service delivery, senior management, executive management and International work. Wendy’s qualifications include Master (MA) of Training and Development, Graduate Diploma in Vocational Education and Training, Diploma of Welfare, Certificate IV in Quality Management and Assurance and Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training.

Michelle Osborne

FMRSU Contract Manager – Melbourne based

Michelle’s background includes project management, managing contracts, operations, logistics and reporting requirements for programs within a banking environment across Australia and Asia.
Most recently Michelle set up the Learning & Development infrastructure in Asia and managed, designed and delivered training for major projects for one of Australia’s major banks.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts, Cert IV in Training & Assessment and a Certificate IV in Small Business Management.

Isolde Scherrer

Financial Literacy Educator Project Officer

Isolde has worked across the education, financial literacy and career development sectors in WA for the past 8 years.
After running the Money Management Program from the Fitzroy Crossing Office in WA, Isolde moved to Melbourne to continue working in this field and complete her Yoga Teachers training.
Isolde is passionate about financial literacy education and the need for it to to reach a broad audience.
Isolde holds qualifications in teaching (Secondary) and a Cert 4 in Workplace Assessment and a Certificate 3 in Community Services.

Jodie Burling

Manager, Human Resources – Sydney based

Jodie has a background in community welfare and human resource management. Prior to joining Matrix Jodie worked in change management and organisation development roles for various non-profit organisations. Jodie is responsible for operationalising our internal HR strategy.
In her spare time Jodie enjoys shiatsu and yoga.

Bonnie Brown

Manager, Corporate Services – Sydney based

Bonnie is responsible for implementing strategy around improving our internal systems and the way we work with our clients. Bonnie has a strong background in general management and administrative systems and processes in non-profit organisations, most recently coming from program management at Red Cross.
Bonnie loves dogs and can’t seem to shake her Canadian accent!

Savy Hughes

National Administrator – Sydney based

Savy joins Matrix with a mixed background having previously worked in Children’s Services, Retail Property and most recently, the not for profit sector. She has held a variety of roles including Early Childhood Assistant, Centre Secretary, Leasing Executive and Executive Assistant. Savy loves “all things admin” and really enjoys working within the not for profit sector.
Savy is know for her love of bustin’ a move and chicken and chips with gravy.

Renatta Yue

Financial Administrator – Sydney based

Renatta comes to us with a bachelor of Accounting. Prior to working with Matrix on Board Renatta cut her teeth in the fast placed IT industry as an accounts clerk.
In Renatta’s downtime she likes to spend time with her family and surfing the net.

Grant Lavac

Manager, Online Products – Sydney based

Grant joins Matrix from BridgeClimb Sydney, where he worked as a Team Leader for six years. Grant has a background in Health Science and hails from a career in the health and fitness industry, where he spent six years working as a Personal Trainer and Performance Nutrition adviser collectively, before moving to Los Angeles for a year to experience life abroad.
Grant rides a Yamaha motorcycle (and longs to one day own a Harley), is a film-maker is his spare time, as well as a lover of all things cats…his cat (aka Master) “Bear” even has his own YouTube channel!

Ashleigh Panozzo

Marketing and Communications Coordinator – Sydney based

Ashleigh has worked for non-profit, local government as well as private enterprise organisations in HR, administrative and communication roles.
Ashleigh believes in what the non-profit sector stands for and finds working within the industry a rewarding experience.
Ashleigh is currently in the process of studying for her Bachelor of Business.
Ashleigh loves running, reading great books and spending time with her two small children.

David Buxbaum

Financial Analyst – Sydney based

David Buxbaum has worked with Matrix on Board as a consultant since 2010. Since entering the non-profit field in 2000, David has directed the finances and operations of several organizations during periods of transition. Prior to 2000, David worked in investment banking for 15 years with postings in New York, London and Melbourne, focusing on the biotech and health care industries. David has an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BS in Math/Business from Wake Forest University.
