Lorraine has two daughters and five granddaughters. Lorraine comes from Alice Springs, but has lived in Darwin for 23 years. Lorraine worked for the past 12 years at Nungalinya College. Lorraine was employed in the College Library for six years before undertaking training as a Theology Teacher at the College. Lorraine enjoyed working with the adult Indigenous students who came from remote and urban communities throughout Australia. Lorraine has 20 years of voluntary work experience with a non-profit Aboriginal Organisation in Darwin, and for 16 years Lorraine has been the Treasurer for this Organisation. Lorraine enjoyed shopping, but, is very happy that her new work with Matrix on Board has taken her away from the location of a shopping centre she frequented daily during her lunch breaks with her former job, and hopes that along with the community travel the shopping addiction will be overcome.
