Lawrie Mortimer

National Program Manager Financial Management Resource Support Unit and MoneyMob Talkabout

Lawrie’s last role was as General Manager of Telstra’s Indigenous Directorate with responsibility for providing telecommunications services into remote Indigenous communities throughout Australia. He has experience in contract management and working with geographically dispersed teams. Lawrie is passionate about reducing Indigenous employment disadvantages.
Before joining Matrix he had a short career crewing on a catamaran doing sunset cruises on Darwin Harbour.

Michelle Taylor

General Manager, Darwin

Michelle has worked in corporate, government and not-for-profit organisations in Australia, Mexico, the United States and Thailand. She began as a trouble shooter in finance and administration and moved on to strategic planning and relationship management. In 2009 Michelle completed an 18 month assignment as a volunteer Management Advisor for an indigenous NGO in the Solomon Islands. She returned to Australia with a strong commitment to helping non-profit organisations.

Ian O’Reilly

Coordinator, MoneyMob Talkabout

Ian is the father of two teenagers. He has lived in Darwin for 25 years. Most of that time he worked in the youth affairs sector, most recently as a school counsellor, but also as the co-ordinator of several NT-wide programs. Other professional experience includes contract work for NGOs and various levels of government. He has his Masters in Community Development.
Ian enjoys music, movies and plays indoor netball for exercise.

Gina Rainbird

Team Leader, Financial Management Resource Support Unit

Gina has worked in a variety of professional and human service environments for government, non-profits and private companies. She has a strong social justice conscience. Recently she was Operations Manager for General Practice Network NT, where she provided support for GPs and other health professionals living in rural/remote NT.
Gina feels very fortunate to have travelled the NT extensively.

Golden Noble-Harris

Client Manager Financial Management Resource Support Unit-

Golden has a communications background, with undergraduate degrees in Journalism and Foreign Languages. Golden’s strengths in writing stem from her passion for language, communication and community interrelations.
Golden has finally called Australia home again after several gruelling years working and travelling abroad. The travel bug has retreated for the love of tropical Darwin.

Julia Wormer

Community Educator Money Mob Talkabout

Julia recently moved back to the Northern Territory after having lived and worked in Cairns for four years. Julia has a bachelor degree in Social Work. Her main areas of expertise are in Early Intervention and Child Protection. She has been employed in various roles for different human service organisations and has a strong passion for working with Indigenous children and families. Julia loves the Top End and is happy to be back in Darwin.
Julia enjoys horse riding, playing the piano, taking her dog for walks, camping, photography and art.

Lorraine Erlandson

Community Educator, MoneyMob Talkabout

Lorraine worked for the past 12 years at Nungalinya College and is a trained Theology teacher.  She enjoyed working with the adult Indigenous students who came from remote and urban communities throughout Australia. Lorraine has 20 years of voluntary work experience with a non-profit Aboriginal organisation in Darwin, and for 16 years Lorraine has been the Treasurer for this Organisation.
Lorraine has two daughters and five granddaughters. She hopes that with the travel she now has to undertake, her shopping addiction will be overcome.

Sandie Stringer

Administrator

Sandie joins MoB after several years working within the mining sector. She has been in the Territory for over 15 years and has worked in non-profit, local government and private companies. She has lived and worked on two Indigenous communities in the NT. Sandie is hoping her knowledge of job networks and recent studies in Business and Human Resources will benefit MoB North.
Outside of work Sandie enjoys the beauty the Territory offers with her husband, children and 6 grandchildren.

Sharon Laughton

Client Manager, Financial Management Resource Support Unit

Sharon is one of very few true Darwinians still living in Darwin! She has worked for the past 8 years in the NT Superannuation Office for the NT Government in a variety of roles. Sharon had a brief stint in Brisbane, but is now back in Darwin, working with Indigenous communities, a job that she enjoys.
Sharon likes to play softball and tries to spend as much time with her daughter as possible.
